Family Law is Advocating. And Megan Ross Pulsts Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way.

Megan Ross Pulsts is a dedicated Atlanta family law attorney who helps clients navigate divorce, custody disputes, and major life transitions with clarity, strategy, and strong advocacy. Her career has been rooted in public service and protecting vulnerable families, and she approaches every case as both a practical problem-solver and a fierce advocate for her clients and their children.

Originally from Minnesota, Megan eventually made her way to Atlanta in 2000 after living in Oregon, South Carolina, and Florida. She earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school, she served on the Student Public Interest Board, was president of the Women’s Law Association, and was recognized nationally by the American Constitution Societyas one of 23 “Next Generation Leaders.” She graduated with the Pro Bono Medal and the Dean’s Public Service Certificate.

Megan began her legal career in 2010 as a juvenile public defender, representing children in the justice system and helping establish the circuit’s mental health treatment court. In 2016, she transitioned to civil advocacy with Georgia Legal Services, representing survivors of domestic violence, families rebuild their lives through the legal system, and training other advocates in both civil and criminal cases.

Today, Megan focuses on family law in Atlanta, assisting clients with divorce, child custody, parenting plans, domestic violence cases, and high-conflict family disputes. Her approach combines thoughtful planning and collaborative problem-solving with strong courtroom advocacy when litigation becomes necessary.

Megan also brings a personal understanding to the work she does. Having ended a long-term marriage herself, she understands firsthand the emotional, financial, and practical challenges that come with divorce. That experience allows her to connect with clients on a deeper level and guide them through difficult transitions with empathy and perspective. Today, she is grateful to be on the other side of that chapter and often reminds clients that life can become stable, healthy, and fulfilling again after the legal process is over.

She is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association, Stonewall Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Megan also served eight years on the Pine Lake City Council, including three years as Mayor Pro Tem, and serves on the Emory Public Interest Advisory Board, demonstrating her long-standing commitment to public service and community leadership.

Outside the office, Megan enjoys concerts, travel, and exploring new restaurants with friends and relaxing at home with their three beloved rescue dogs.
